The New MallinCam IR Filter is the latest addition from MallinCam for those seeking the best IR filter for their MallinCam Video CCD Cameras. Specially manufactured for the MallinCam ccd sensor. The filter was design for the ccd sensor spectral range of any MallinCam Video CCD. The filter has an extremely sharp cutoff at 689.8nm and leaves all the visible red, including the important 656nm H-alpha emission line, preventing IR wavelengths from blurring fine detail in your live image with a MallinCam Xtreme, VSS, VSS+, MCHP, MallinCam Jr PRO, and MallinCam Micro-EX.

The MallinCam 2", 2x Barlow lens is made of high quality materials, including Extra Low Dispersion optical glass (ED), fully multi-coated optical lens to translate to higher contrast, sharper images. The lenses have a diameter of 37mm, thus you can use the 2" MallinCam Barlow with any Large CCD sensor without vignetting effect. Our 2" ED Barlow lens comes with a 1.25" adapter, brass compression rings on both the Barlow and the 1.25” adapter, and barrel is threaded to accept 48mm filters. Two dust caps are included. |

The New MCS Coatings on the New MFR-5 II are unique in the industry. Developed for MallinCam Video CCD sensors covering their full spectral range. The image to the left shows the former MFR-5 (far left) and the New Version MFR-5 II (on right). The light source used in the picture was a combination of intense LED lighting 12 watts plus a CFL 26 watts light. The new coatings allow better contrast and light transmission with minimal light loss. Difference is gaining aperture from your telescope optical system. There is only one MFR-5 II and its made by MallinCam for your MallinCam. Works on all video 1/2" sensors and video 1/3" sensors.
The optical glass used on the New MFR-5 II is made using laser guided grinding technology to a precision not found on any other focal reducers in its class. New special coatings will reduce internal reflections between lenses commonly found on many focal reducers. Images are crisp and contrast is boosted to new level unseen before. Reduction varies from 0.8X, 0.5X and can go as low as 0.3X when used with optional spacers. It delivers multiple focal range just like having multiple focal reducers all in one unit. Threaded for all 1.25" filters on the market today.

(OA-11) MFR-6 Focal Reducer, 0.8x
NEW!! Images to the left are of the MFR-6, a mild 0.8X Focal Reducer Corrector. Using this FR will give a 811X510 CCD Sensor the field of view of a 1013X637 one. It can be used on all 1/2 " CCD sensors and 1/3" Sensors of all MallinCam cameras. Reducing the field of view slightly will increase your image Sharpness and give better pin point stars. New! The C- mount MFR-8 kit was designed for all the MallinCam SkyRaider Series of Cameras with C mount only. Included are a multi coated 25mm dual element hand selected lens assembled right here in our Ottawa firm. Machining is also done at a local machine shop. It comes equipped with two 10 mm spacers and one 5mm spacer for precision adjustment of F/ ratio reduction to suit just about any telescope configuration. The MFR-8 is part of our high end MFR-5 II which feature precision threads and is ready to accept any filters or other 1.25" size accessories. (OA-17) MallinCam MFR-10, 2" Large Format Focal Reducer
The New MFR-10 has been totally redesigned. It has a two part sections where a New Universe focal reducer is included and can be placed in front or at the back of the coma / flattener for a variety of reduction and and adaptability to optical systems. It is mounted via T mount and is of fixed value. The focal reducer section can be removed and placed into the camera for reduction only where no comma reducer is needed. Threaded for 2" filters, the MFR-10 will fit to all T mount cameras of up to 28.6 mm diagonal (APS-C) CCD or CMOS sensors. Made for cameras with 17.5 mm back focus. Reduction is 0.5X. The MallinCam 2" Coma Corrector is a photo/visual auxiliary lens system that fits into the 2" focuser of all f/3.5 to f/6 Newtonian reflectors to drastically reduce coma and curvature of field in astrophotography and visual observing.
