Light Pollution Affect All of Us

We managed to capture what we see exactly during the night from the flag lights at a new Distribution Center near astronomical observatories in Johnstown Ontario Canada located  by the beautiful St-Lawrence Seaway. Below are the latest  environment damages caused by a distribution center recently built with giant flag poles lighting system that reach well over 27,000+ feet in altitude. The light pollution beams can be seen as far as north in Spencerville Ontario, 9.3 miles away (15 Km). This match precisely what we see to the naked eye. This is a mile and a half from the observatories in Johnstown Ontario Canada. Just thought to share with readers of this website what people are faced with while broadcasting live and doing outreach educational program and the science of astronomy.

We at MallinCam support entirely the fight against light pollution generated by anyone who cause it. We fully support the International Dark Sky Association
